Past
parades
have had a lot of TROUBLE with water cannons. We ask that all Spring
Grove 4th of July Celebration participants leave your water cannons at
home. Custom car owners don't want their cars getting wet. The kids on the floats may get injured. There have been several instances where innocent bystanders get water in the eyes. The little ones are who we are trying to protect. Small manual water pistols are still allowed. No fireworks of any kind are allowed at any venue of the event. Roads in the area of the parade are closed to all traffic. This is a safety issue. The roads affected are Winn, Main, East Solon, Blivin, and Richardson. Parade line up will be at Intermattic. Leaving the parking lot, they will head North on Winn. They will then head East on Main, then will head North on Blivin and turn into Horse Fair Park. |
